Before using our website, please read the terms set out below. By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms of use. We reserve the right to review and revise the terms from time to time, without prior notice. By using this site you are automatically bound by any such changes. If you find the terms to be unacceptable you must immediately terminate your use of this website.
Substitutes
We reserve the right to make substitutes or remove products from a display due to safety reasons. Adverse weather may result in safety issue. This will be advised during our site visit and risk assessments.
Adverse Weather
We advise that you do not use lanterns when winds are greater than 5 mph. We therefore reserve the right to terminate the sky lantern display due to safety reasons. In the event of adverse weather, in particular strong winds and heavy rain we will cancel the display.
Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation policy will apply:
Deposits are fully refundable provided, at least 30 days notice is given before the display date. This does not apply when displays are booked with less than 30 days to display date.
Should you cancel your display for any reason (within 30 days of your display date), we will have the right to retain 10% of any payments received. 90% will be refunded.
Should you cancel your display for any reason (within 1-2 weeks of your display date), we will have the right to retain 25% of any payments received. Only 75% will be refunded.
Should you cancel your display for any reason (within 48 hours of your display date), we will have the right to retain 50% of any payments received. Only 50% will be refunded.
Should you cancel your display for any reason (within 24 hours of your display date), we will have the right to retain 100% of any payments received. No payments will be refunded.
Should we decide to cancel (on the date of the display), through no fault of our own as a result of adverse weather, we will have the right to retain 100% of any payments received. No payments will be refunded. The Sky Lanterns will remain the property of the customer.
Payment Terms
A 20% deposit is taken on confirmation of order. The remaining balance (80%) is then taken, no later than 4 weeks before the display date. If the order is booked within four weeks for the display date we require payment in full. Please note funds must be cleared funds for the display to proceed.
Payment Surcharge
If payment is made by credit or debit card, a 3% surcharge will be added to the value of the display. No surcharge will be incurred is payment is made by cheque or BACS.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse any orders listed at the incorrect price. This also applies to typographical errors of product descriptions.

Despite our best efforts there may be errors in pricing within our website.
Handling Complaints
All complaints should be sent by email to sales@skylanterndisplays.com. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days of receipt. We will endeavour to resolve all complaints within a two week period. The consumer will be informed throughout the process.
Statutory Rights
Nothing contained within our Terms and Conditions in any way affects, excludes or limits your statutory rights.
