What is the cost?
If you prefer to just purchase the lanterns and do your own display. The following prices apply:

CUSTOMISED

• Box of 10 Sky Lanterns - £64.99 (Inc. VAT)
• Individual Sky Lanterns - £6.50 (Inc. VAT)

If you are looking for a display fired by our trained technicians, prices start from £500. The cost will depend on number of lanterns required. Please call our staff for further information.

How safe are your Sky Lanterns?
SkyLanternDisplays.com believes safety to be of the utmost importance. Before we agree to provide a display we will carry out a site survey and risk assessment to make sure that the site is suitable and your display can be fired safely. Our sky lanterns are made from non-flammable material and all of our pyrotechnicians are trained and insured to follow strict safety procedures at all times.

Do I need any insurance?
SkyLanternDisplays.com provides all necessary insurance. As a company we carry £10 million products and public liability insurance, which covers you for any display related incidents.

Does the size of the venue matter?
Yes, the area of which the display is to be conducted will have to be assessed by our expert operators. Depending on the venue size, we will advise what we believe to be most suitable. All of our displays are subject to a Risk Assessment.

If my budget is less than £500, can you still provide a display for my event?
Yes, we can still offer you a professional display. This display will however include fewer sky lanterns. A separate quote will be given for operator and risk assessment fees.

Can my display be set off at midnight?
Yes, there is no legislation governing the use of sky lanterns. If however, you are complementing your display with fireworks, displays booked any time other than (November 5th, New Years Eve and Chinese New Year) must finish by 11pm due to strict legislation.

Will high winds spoil my display?
Yes. We advise that you do not use lanterns when winds are greater than 5 mph.
